Jermaine D. Williams is widely thought of as one of the fastest rising stars among Louisiana Trial Attorneys.  Raised in the small community of Gueydan, Louisiana, Jermaine has incorporated the down home, family relationship into his practice.

Jermaine graduated from Southern University Law Center in 1998 and immediately traveled to Japan where he received his Master's Degree from Kanazawa University in 2002.  Jermaine is fluent in Japanese and has used his international travels and studies to enhance his practice.

Upon return to the United States in 2002, Jermaine returned to his roots and opened his first office in his hometown of Gueydan, Louisiana.  From 2003 to 2005, Jermaine served as an Assistant District Attorney for the 15th Judicial District, which covers the Parishes of Acadia, Lafayette and Vermilion.

In 2005 Jermaine left the District Attorney's Office and once again went into private practice, this time focusing on defending the rights of those wrongfully accused.  His criminal practice includes individuals accused in all Texas and Louisiana State Courts as well as many Federal Courts throughout the two (2) states.  Jermaine has used all of his prior experience to defend his clients at the pre-trial, trial, appellate and post-conviction levels.

In addition to his criminal practice, Jermaine is very experienced in the personal injury arena.  Jermaine has successfully resolved all types of automobile, trucking, offshore, admiralty and maritime accidents as well as numerous workers' compensation claims.  Jermaine's experience in these areas has caused such entities such as the National Business Institute to request him to give several lectures.

As a current and active member of such organizations such as the American Association of Justice, Louisiana Association of Justice, Lafayette and Vermilion Parish Bar Associations, Houston Young Lawyer's Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and many others, Jermaine has been able to keep abreast of the many changes in his particular fields of practice.
